Nortico Cacao Farm takes you on a journey to discover the story behind Theobroma cacao, “Food of the Gods”, and how it has been explored and modified through time to get the characteristic taste of chocolate as we know it today.
The tour starts by walking through our beautiful cacao farm, talking about the origin, history and nature of cacao.
In our Post-Harvest Center we show and explain the delicate and very important post-harvest process where we ferment, dry and store our beans.
We end the tour with a fun and interactive workshop where you participate in transforming fresh roasted cacao beans into your own personal chocolate treats.
